For Medical emergencies -

Robina Hospital is located in the heart of the Robina CBD and is the sixth largest hospital in Queensland.

Located on the corner of Robina Town Centre Drive and Bayberry Lane, the original hospital was built at Robina as a private hospital offering some public services in 2000 and acquired by the Queensland Government in June 2002. The Robina Hospital Expansion completed in 2012 saw the hospital double in size to a 364 bed facility with 80 per cent single rooms. Robina Hospital provides the following services: •24 hour emergency department •General medicine •Intensive care •Coronary care •Surgery •Allied health •Mental Health services - child, youth and adult •Outpatients appointments •Renal dialysis and home training •Radiology •Aged care and dementia •Medical imaging •Pathology •Pharmacy

The Bond University Medical Facility actively contributes to the providing an active learning, teaching and research environment on site at the Robina Hospital. This has been achieved by contributing to and collocating in the Robina Hospital Clinical Education and Research Centre (CERC). The CERC includes a 100 seat lecture theatre, clinical skills laboratories and tutorial rooms. Robina Hospital staff and Bond University students also have access to an on-site library, outdoor courtyards and a common area. Visiting hours Robina Hospital’s in-patient wards have specific visiting hours for relatives and friends to visit their loved ones staying in hospital. To find out the visiting hours of the ward your family member or friend is staying in, phone the main hospital number and request to speak to the ward reception.

Getting there Robina Hospital is located a short distance off exit 79 on the M1 (Pacific Motorway). Robina Hospital is easily accessible via public transport with Robina Train Station located opposite the hospital and buses operating frequently in the vicinity.

For Dental emergencies,
I would recommend a great resource http://findemergencydentist.com.au/gold-coast that lists current dental clinics on the Gold coast that takes last min urgent patients. Often the surgeries are open after hours with some being 24 hours.

Creek Falls and Rock Pools

Discreetly tucked away behind a shield of natural greenery, these falls are often missed by the many who head to the hinterland for day trips and main attractions. There are two main picnic areas with plenty of room and three waterfalls are just 10 minutes walk away. The waterfalls are spectacular all year round and the gorge scenery breathtaking. To get there take Mt Tamborine Road, turn off onto Cedar Creek Falls Road, which ends at the parking area.

Greenmount Beach

It\'s normally a favourite on someone\'s best beaches list but not many people know of it because they think Surfers Paradise or Burleigh first. Greenmount headland has some nice little secluded spots around the rocks when it\'s low tide for sunbaking or a picnic. Further south the cove of Froggy\'s Beach at Snapper Rocks is a good spot to set up away from the groups on the main stretch of surf watching the waves and surfers come in. It\'s the most easterly part of Queensland and the most southern tip of Coast beaches before NSW. Love locks have become popular along this stretch, where people sign a padlock and leave it on a boardwalk in memory.

Currumbin Valley Rock Pools

They are not your obvious beach or hinterland waterfall, but they provide a fun-filled scenic day out for families or couples looking for a cute date spot. The secret with the rock pools is walking 50m upstream to a small waterfall tucked away from the main attraction. Slippery rocks and smooth crevasses provide natural slides into the freshwater. There are plenty of picnic tables, toilets, and a nice outlook over the rock pools. Drive up a few kilometres further and there is a great short walk along the creek you can take after a leisurely lunch.
